It was not Cabrera it was Duncan, don't ask for a Yankees autograph while wearing a Redsox cap. The kids parents should of taught him that. At the same time Duncan is an idiot and I'm sure it wont happen again. You got to love the rivalry no matter what side you support its good for the game.

It was Shelley Duncan and it was all in good fun until some uptight parents wanted to make a story out of it. I bet the dad was one of the thousands in the crown wearing some sort of Yankees Suck gear, and I would bet that the family was chanting Yankees Suck right along with the other 35,000 fans. Hypocrites. The kid is probably in 5th grade now. I bet he and his friends use words that are a million times worse than suck. The kid should be happy that a player was joking around withhim and that he got a unique auotgraph. People really need to lighten up.

no....it was Shelley Duncan.typically yank....crushing and traumatizing a 10 year old.i could see if the fan was 25 ,then shame on the red sox fan going to a Yankee.....but a 10 year old? damn!

I heard this was true, but Melky wont admit it. He prob just made a blunder. kids say suck all the time. It's not that bad the Yanks will get that division the way things are going
