The only question is, who will attack first, Iran or the USA? Yes, the conflict is inevitable, unless there's a big change in Iran.

The US will invade if Israel doesn't first. What other choice does the US government have? Wacko Ahmadinejad has already said that he plans on destroying Israel first then the US. The US should do something very soon. Russia is there as we speak helping them set up and reports are saying some of the Russian scientists have no background in nuclear power, only weaponry... Why can I turn on MSNBC right now and see OJ Simpson in handcuffs for armed robbery that I dont even care about, but not MSNBC or any other of the mainstream news channels are showing the clips of Ahmadinejad in a live public speech declaring that very soon Israel and the US will be destroyed? He must not be allowed to continue his nuclear progression. I for one support a full on attack to destroy any and all nuclear facilities inside Iran before we lose Israel and several major US cities.

The U.S. will not invade Iran in the next 24 months. The military does not have the available troops or equipment to do so.

The possibility of some nation carrying out a bombing attack on Iran, however, can't be discounted. Iran's pursuit of a nuclear weapon is threatening to all five nuclear states (Russia, China, Israel, Pakistan, and India) in the region.

This is an inevitable conflict. We're already fighting them in Iraq by proxy. I'm sure there are plans on the table.
I was watching one of these talking head "experts" on TV just last week. And he said air attacks would probably begin within a yr.
It has to happen though. They are threatening Israel, and killing our troops in Iraq. This man (pres of Iraq) should really be considered the modern day Hitler. Hitler said lots of crazy crap that no one paid attention to...until he invaded Poland. When a nutjob starts ranting like he does, we should all pay attention.

We don't have to invade. We merely have to carry out an intensive air campaign using aircraft already in the theater in Iraq and Afghanistan, complemented by other aircraft on an island near Qatr and on the island of Diego Garcia. It's not us who are crazy. It's the inability of all of those mullahs to read a map and get a head-clearing exercise from doing so.

I wish there were never a reason for war, but if Iran decides to set off some nukes...we're all going down like the Titanic!

o they aren't crazy they see Iran for the threat that it is. Iran is sending weapons and men into Iraq and are killing our troops, guess what that's an act of war. The President of Iran is talking about wiping Israel off the face of the map. Do we just ignore that threat? Maybe its time for you to wake up and smell the roses.

War is big business. Since the USA has corporate CEO's, big business, and big oil in control of the current Bush regime, it's no surprise they want to invade Iran.

That means many more no-bid contracts for Halliburton, KBR, and Blackwater.

It's scary to think of how insane our current government is. January 2009 can't come soon enough.
