Oh, honey, THAT'S the first name you picked? Winston Archer sounds infinitely better, but your little guy is going to go through a horrendous time of it with a first name of Winston.
Is it a family name and that's why you're using it? If so, why not try reversing it to be Archer Winston?

Winston Archer sounds better, but Winston Axle is a super cool name. it makes me think of Axle Rose.

Archer's a pretty tight name. Winston Archer sounds best. How about Archer William, but that name's a bit conventional if you're going for the whole 9,000 BC theme using "Winston"

Yes, Winston and Archer both have the same sort of "feel" to them, and Axle has a distinct "rebellious" feel to it that clashes with the upscale sort of feel that Winston has.
