Not all of us do. Some of us are just downright cruel and like to mess with the male mind. But honestly, if we're confusing and sending mixed signals and keep you wondering whether or not we want you... it isn't completely crazy to think that we might just be terrified and just as confused as you are. For those of us who take relationships seriously, deciding whether or not to go into a new one with a fellow can be a big desicion. Sometimes we've been hurt so much by other guys that we're not completely ready to give ourselves over to someone new... even if we're really attracted to you in spite of ourselves. And sometimes, it's just really good to have a guy keep after you when we're "playing hard to get". We figure it must mean we're something special to you when you're not willing to let us get away easily, and that means a lot.
I'm sorry if someone is messing with you right now. Don't become discouraged and generalize that all of us gals are going to do that to you. :)

Women play hard to get because the fun is all in the chase. If you don't take the bait to chase, then we aren't interested in you. Fact remains, if you can't put forth a little effort to get your hands on us, then you won't put forth any effort in a relationship with us either.

They are not playing. They should be hard to get! There are so many assholes out there... you can't be too careful. They just don't want to go out with the first guy who comes along. What should they? Woman are more sensitve then guys and more monogomous by nature. Most want one good one, where as guys are happy to play the field.

So that they are more desirable. Anything good is worth working for. Plus, no one wants to be easy! If you are having one of those situations, play with the girl. If you don't, she will think that you are no longer interested and move on.

cause they get hit on by so many guys that try and get with them they have to, well those are the pretty girls, the ugly chics love attention like that.. but i dont pay them any i play hard to get

cause they dont know how to really go after a man... I really dont know why they do that. I sure as heck dont... but what happens when the chase ends? You got him, now what... not what you thought? Yeah I have seen that happen so many times and the guy ends up getting hurt.
