My demension 2400 needs a driver for the floppy drive which one do i use and where can i get it? thanks

Windows will automatically install a driver for it. You don't need to download one.

Check your BIOS settings and make sure the floppy drive is enabled.

Most new PCs don't come with floppy drives anymore. Instead of installing a drive on my PC, I bought a free-standing USB-connected floppy drive. This way it can be used with any PC - your 2400 and your new one when you upgrade.

Here is the link to the dell tech support site for your model. It has all the drivers available for that model. I don't think you need a driver for a floppy drive, but you can check if they have one for download...
