Of my parent's 78's I saved one red record-that cracked-Ain't that a Grand and Glorious Feeling and one Spike Jones-How Ya Gonna Keep 'Em Down on the Farm. I remember seeing him on those variety shows. . .

I haven't heard that name since I was growing up. I remember
seeing him on the early days of TV. Didn't he have some
sillyness to him when he played music? Or did he have a
band he directed? Seems like I remember he used different
things to make additional sounds of music?

I was really young then..I just remember he "clanged" a lot of instruments and made a lot of "noise". Right?Like I said...I was a little girl then.
