yes all you need is a tape recorder, or you could use the memo function of your cell phone, just be sure to turn the volume up on the message machine.

Probably, just buy a cheap tape recorder and put the phone on speakerphone. I've been meaning to tape mine as well.

Some phones can and some dont. To find out navigate to your recorder while on the phone and see if it will record. Mine can.
