I really don't have much im tryna go to school and get a job but I'm damn near desperate to step me game up in every aspect of my life !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need good Tips as to what I can please help me!!!! I want to be succesful!

ALWAYS look your best. No matter where you are going, or what you are doing. You never, never know who you will meet upon whom you can make an excellent impresssion. Do not overdo the perfume or the makeup, but still be a little sexy. Always wear nice heels and have manicured hands with nails which are not too long. Despite what some say, DO wear your hair long. No fancy up-do's, weaves, or adornments.

Perfect your verbal grammar and your writing skills. This is of paramount importance.

Always put your best foot forward in front of others. No matter who. Today's janitor may be tomorrow's CEO, plus, you never know when you will need a favor from the janitor, the baker, the waitress ... you get the picture. Be genuinely friendly, and know that everyone (from one of the Board of Director members to the receptionist), are human; meaning that each has fears and joys and that each is partial to people who are genuine and who offer them a level of true admiration and respect (yes, you can genuinely admire and respect the receptionist) and who are truly interested in them.

Pick your battles. Do not waste precious energy fighting for the little things. Aim high and keep your eyes on what you are aiming for. Let all the others fight over what is on lesser ground.

Work hard. Then, work harder. Let your work ethics speak for you.

Laugh. Really. Laugh at yourself, laugh at what happens, approach everything with verve and humour and the thought of "I can do this".

Don't be afraid to step over the boundaries, without of course doing anything that can cause harm to anyone or is illegal. The term has been SO overused, but truly, train yourself to 'think out of the box'; meaning that before you undertake a new task, ask yourself if there is a better way of doing it. Sometimes there isn't, but wow, sometimes there just is.

Prepare, prepare, prepare. Prepare yourself for better things. This will actually get you in a mindset to strive to achieve these better things. Prepare for your work before you do it. Ask yourself "what tools do I need to get this done?". Ask questions. Try to find a mentor - someone you admire. In fact, find many. Ask teachers and superiors questions. Again, everyone likes to feel important and if you approach someone with an earnest desire to learn, chances are they will be glad to share the knowledge.

Keep your personal life completely separate from business. If you are looking for a sugar-daddy or want to marry up, look for him outside of the office at other well-known companies or where rich men frequent. DO NOT PLAY at the office. For every secretary that marries the boss or the VP of marketing, there are 300 that lose their jobs.

Only apply at top companies. Spend all your effort in getting your foot in the door of a great company rather than spending a year to build up your resume in order to apply at one. Use every means to find out who the actual department head is for a position which you are applying for and give them a call to introduce yourself. Be brief, be professional, but make contact!

Finally, enjoy yourself. Make it a game to get to the top. Once it becomes something you hate trying to do, then you are on your way to becoming embittered an unhappy - and really, part of "success" is not only good fortune and money, but being happy.
