all I know is that when my dad graduated gradeschool there were 8 kids at the graduation and they were all ages graduating at the same time.

When I graduated gradeschool there were only 16 kids in my class. When I graduated high school there were only 64 of us. I didn't go to college graduation (I had to be out of town) but the classes I took there were anywhere from 4 to 32 people in the class. I saw the list of who graduated and it seems to me it was no more than 100 people.

Then I came to Florida I couldn't even get in to any classes I tried for (because they were all full) and that university was holding the classes in the gymnasium because the classes were so huge. So yes, I definitely noticed the growth (maybe it's because internationals were here schooling at the same place).
