Hello I just bought a Hanns-g JW199D 19" / AMD 64 Athlon x2. I have a cable that says DVI (white cable) and one that says VGA (blue cable). I didn't get a manual with my computer and I'm not use to these new type of computers so I'm not sure whats going on..

But my question is, when I plug in the VGA cable to the monitor and computer , the computer does not start and the monitor says " No signal input check video cable." And I don't know where to put the DVI cable because there is no connection on the back of the computer (not the monitor.) Can some one please help me with this?

( I would appreciate a answer maybe in a couple hours, because I really need this computer to start working. I have an online business and I need a quick response.)

I don't think it's your monitor. They give you both cables because they don't know what kind of monitor you have. Obviously, you would use one or the other.

Make sure there are not 2 VGA ports on the back of the computer, If there are, try the other one.

I'm worried when you say the computer won't start. No lights, fans, action? It may be dead on arrival.
