Smoking restrictions and ordinances are only enacted at the local and county level, and sometimes at the state level. The President and the Federal government have no control or influence on those, so I don't see why you're blaming Bush for that. Speaking of which, most people LIKE clean air so there's no way the bans are going away. Deal with it, nicotine junkie.

Well, currently there is legislation being proposed to congress that limits my ability to post nude pictures of myself on an adult website that are dedicated for adult use only...
If this legislation passes - say good bye to all the sites like Manhunt.net, adult friend finder, alt.com and the rest...
This legislation is masquerading as a "child safety" act...
The only thing that it really has to do with Bush is that he will probably support the bill and will veto any decision that he doesn't like in regards to it.
The biggest problem with that, is it is unfair and unlawful for Americans to try to legislate the WORLD WIDE web...
I'm also not too comfortable with the whole wire-tapping thing... especially since I am a member of a number of environmental organizations that are always being attacked in the pseudo-media as "possible terrorist organizations".
It is really congress that you have to watch - because even though the majority are now democrats - the republicans have enjoyed a good long reign of power in congress and continue to fight their battles there.
And if you think BUSH is stubborn... check out some of the Republican Senators... yikes! (some are downright Nazis).

What i can't figure out is how you can blame Bush for that? Laws concerning that are passed at the State or local level. Lets try to keep things anchored in Reality shall we? Oh and several laws of that type were passed in my State in the 90s, would you like me to blame clinton for that?
