What do I do when I find a bug in my home? Depends on what it is and the size of it. If it's a spider or a centepede I squash it. If it's an ant I follow it to see where it's going or where it's been and I get rid of the problem and then the ants leave. If it's a cockroach I put out the roach motels. If it's fleas (because of my pet) I fog the place with Raid foggers. If it's a hornet or bee I will either open the window and watch to see that for sure it leaves, or if it's in the car I'll leave it in there and close the door then come back later and Raid fog the car. If it's a lizzard I'll leave it alone (eventually it will die if it can't get to food or water or it will find it's own way out; they're too fast to try to catch). If the bugs are on plants then I'd wash the bugs down the drain with soap and water. That's about it.

Well, depends what sort of bug ur talking about. If I find a huge cockroach (some of them are about 2 inches long *ugh* and they fly!) or flies and mozzies, out comes the bug spray. But if u mean spiders like the huntsman (he's about the size of a bread and butter plate) then I leave him be or shoo him out the door cos he eats all the other bugs including the roaches, lol! And he's harmless to us as well.

I usually scoot it outside, esp spiders. I just really like them for some reason. Then they can eat the other bugs and I don't have a problem anymore.

I nearly always get the vacuum out and suction the bug! Or get the window cleaner and blast it, then scoop it up with tissue and flush it.

I occasionally find a spider or moth. I take them outside and set them free.

A fly, on the other hand, I will smoosh.

If I get to it before the rest of my family, I send it kindly on it's way out the window or door....unless it's a fly.

Usually kill it, spray, swatter, whatever it takes.

If its a cricket, or mantis or something benign, I'll put it outside.
