Hi I'd like to know some questions about suckiness.
1) Who is the worst rock band ever to get a record deal?
2) Who is the worst rock band to go gold?
3) Who is the worst rock band to go platinum?

By judging the worst, I'd like you to take into consideration:
A) The singing voice
or
B) The song quality
or
C) To overall song, including vocals, guitar, drums.

thanks and please awsner!

1. Mika. Not a rock band, but whatever. He NEEDED to be said.
2. Nickelback. No idea if they went gold.
3. Chiodos. Sorry, I DEFINATLY know they didn't go platinum. But they're pretty bad.

i think of the final determination Metallica has made in an prolonged time is to hire Robert Trujillo. the outcomes have yet to be seen on an album scale yet for as quickly as interior the previous decade and a a million/2, i'm excited to work out what they sound like on their next album. Even James claims that Robert has inspired him to be a greater physically powerful musician. the main because of the fact that Cliff died. so some distance as worst replace, i think of while Ozzy tried to replace Zakk Wylde with James Holmes. that fairly sucked. Zakk has his own type and James grew to become right into a Randy clone wannabe.

Iron Butterfly. They fit every category, with that horrid "Inna Gadda Da Vida" going platinum.

They were so bad that when the unknown Led Zeppelin opened for them, Iron Butterfly refused to take the stage after.

A positive note: the guitarist who replaced Erik Brann, named Mike Pinera, went on to have a mildly successful carreer but he was a good guitarist who came after the first few LPs.

Boomerang is the worst band to get a record deal. Fortunately, they sunk like the stone they were.

One could say nearly any one-hit wonder gets that accolade for worst band to go gold or platinum

I have a list of crappy bands

Nickelback is the worst band to be most successful. Horribly overrated. Not only does Chad Kroeger have a gravely, whiney singing voice (thanks to bloody voice enhancement; he doesn't normally sound like that at all) but the lyrics sounds like the diary of a troubled teenager suffering from serious bouts of depression (except for Rockstar and If Everyone Cared.) I've only been using this band to promote my casual fanship for their less overrated clone band Theory of a Deadman. Mind you, I only have two of their singles on my iPod because my big sister downloaded them for me.

Korn is on my list. Not only did their video for "Freak on a Leash" piss me off greatly (the shocking amount of destruction was bloody unspeakable, still does, along with Papa Roach's "Broken Home") but frontman Jonathan Davis sounds like freaking Satan when he sings

My Chemical Romance. Boring, and their videos look extremely yucky and/or as interesting as a mayonnaise sandwich (the latter especially being true of "I Don't Love You."

Tool. See My Chemical Romance. I will add that their videos are total yawners.

Simple Plan - crybabies who whine more than Nickelback. Would like them better if they didn't.

Good Charlotte - fake poseur punks. Just as overrated as Nickelback. I have more punk in my eyeball than Gay Charlotte does in their whole album. They make me appreciate Simple Plan.

Alexisonfire - Can't stand all the screaming crap. I would need a lyric sheet to figure out what the hell that frontman is saying!

Nickleback - The lead singer is annoying, the lyrics are pretty awfull and theres no originality. All of their songs are clones of each other.
Fall Out Boy - Its Fall Out Boy, need I say more?
My Chemical Romance - Annoying songs, no talent and crappy lyrics.
Greenday - Their a disgrace to punk rock. Their songs are awfull, annoying and repative.

My Chemical Romance is just terrible. The singer has such an annoying voice that even if the others were good with their instruments, it'd still ruin the song. Their latest album went platinum, meaning it also went gold at some point.

Fall Out Boy without a doubt.

Guns N' Roses rocks. Slash rocks.
