Bush doesn't have an administration anymore. He's only trying to hang on till his term runs out. Crumbling doesn't quite cover falling flat on your face. It's unfortunate that the US will lose face over it and more troops will not make it home.

Which is more important to you?

come on! he's got slightly over 1 year to go, does anyone really care? withdrawal of the troops will happen when it is made possible and not before. don't be surprised, even if the Dem's win, it may not happen right away.

It seems as though there's a new scandal, almost daily. The majority of the American people want to bring the troops home NOW. Bush got us into this mess and he's leaving it for the next president to clean up.

It's not crumbling. Bush has just realized that he has to meet people halfway, instead of creating stand-offs. A good politician is willing to compromise a little so as not to divide people and get things done.

His administration started to crumble when civilians exposed more facts about 9/11 than the government.

No. He is a lame duck president though. That means since he is in the last days of his presidency and cannot be re-elected, he has lost some effectiveness.

Yes, there is no way Bush will end his term, things are unraveling way too fast now and ACCELERATING!

Rove is gone, Libby almost spilled aLthe beans to stay out of prison, Greenspan is publicley saying the war was for oil not democracy and that Bush's spending is bad for the country.

Iraq is about to tell America to leave once and for all.

there's no one left for Bush to use as a cover and so now he's going to have to take all the blame by himself.

He doesn't want that.

His administration was a joke since January 2000. I am every day again astonished, that he was voted twice.
