Because white males know better. The party is about women and minorities. I can't figure out why any white male over the age of 27 would even register or vote democrat.

Because the frontrunner is a woman.
Are you saying that if a woman were running in the Republican field, that she could never be a frontrunner because of her gender?

Why does THAT matter?
I thought you should vote for the BEST candidate, not the best WHITE candidate. Want a White male frontrunner? Vote republican...

I agree with Lindsey....but thus far, only men have been President and considering the screw up we've been stuck with the past 7 years, its time to bring some common sense and class to the white house.
Ethnicity and sex does not matter. Concern, consideration and the ability to take care of the needs and wants of our citizens is most important. Our next president will most likely have those qualities if they are Democratic. Vote republican and be prepared to keep holding your ankles:-)

This sounds like a cheap shot at John Edwards, being constantly referred to as "feminine" by the far-right.
Or, there's simply some subtle racist undertone at play here. Why such the focus on race?

Because this country is a melting pot of citizens with different skin colors, different religions, different cultures and different political viewpoints. The "Presidents' Club" is no longer strictly reserved for white males. -RKO- 09/18/07

No self respecting white man would want to promote the agenda of the left. See John Kerry and John Edwards, hardly legitimate self respecters.

what an oddly innocently racist and sexist question you have there.
no, the dems tend to look just to who's most qualified.
based on the repubs choice of semi-illiterate bush as president, they should consider doing the same.
by the way, you are a racist and a sexist.
hope this helps...

Why does that matter? Race and sex does not effect one's ability to be a good president.
