Yes I know, I am really tired of them riding inbetween lanes. They are legal because they make good body donors.

All that stuff you mentioned about how "safe" cars are won't protect the driver if they go off a cliff, will it? ABS, traction control, stability control, heated seats, airbags, navigation systems and all-wheel drive obviously does NOTHING for the idiots here in Colorado when the snow flies, and you'll see more Lexuses and BMWs sliding off the freeway than Civics.
Why? Because people like you that actually think all those gadgets make the car drive itself are really shocked when it turns out THEY are the ones in control!
If you can bring yourself into the REAL WORLD for a minute, you'd realize that no matter what your chosen transportation, THE OPERATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT THE VEHICLE DOES. Not airbags, not seatbelts, and definitely not cellphones!
The best piece of safety equipment anyone has is between their ears. From your ignorant statements, I'd say you're doomed.

Thank you for your question. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time (referring to farm animals). I believe they are legal because they are a motor vehicle that has headlights, brake lights and an engine that can potentially travel up to or exceeding 70 miles per hour. You must consider that these vehicles were used heavily in the first and second World Wars and were very dependable and useful.
While I used to own one, I am not biased in my opinion. They are statistically dangerous, but not because of motorcycles; it are car drivers that are the real danger. 4 wheel vehicles are those which typically cause the accidents involving motorcycles. One must obtain a special license to operate a motorcycle and they are well trained to do so.
Additionally, my motorcycle was a Honda and did not fart like the Harley Davidson models that you may be referring to or the "crotch rockets" that whine when they pass you. And, I never negotiated through traffic like some operators do. I do see your point, don't get me wrong. Your question is well respected.
Perhaps you may look at my perspective with my vehicle. I drive a Honda Civic Hybrid that gets 50 MPG. I could ask, "Why doesn't everyone drive the same type of vehicle that I do?" It is a matter of choice, affordability and gas efficiency. I can't expect everyone to spend $28,000 like I did, when a good motorcycle costs 1/5 of the price and has great gas mileage. Not to mention, the fuel emission for a "bike" is way less than one person in a car or forbid an SUV.

Well **********. My motocycle is pretty quiet and sounds like a muffled F1 car. And when I ride I use a one piece riding suit like those used in proffessional racing which basically means I can fall off my bike doing well over 100 mph, slide along the ground on my armored clothing till I come to a stop and have nothing but some soreness for a few days. Much rather have that happen instead of getting into a car accident at 80 mph and getting crushed from all sides by jagged metal and plastic. And I take up less space on the road, pollute less than a car, and use far less gas. Have a nice day **********.

think about this, if the car was invented today, do you think it would ever be legal? an explosive fuel source behind people, delivering the fuel under the passenger compartment, feeding a device that explodes the fuel in front of the passenger compartment.
by the way, a motercycle safety instructor i had once had a video of a 750 ninja, with no rider, crashing full throttle into the side of a taurus station wagon around 150 mph. it actually split the car in half.
besides i like flatulance, especially mine.
BUT! the big question is, why are you allowed on a computer?

Who are you to be judging? YOU ARE THE PEOPLE THAT KEEP HITTING THE BIKERS! Car companies do all that testing to make their car's safe because you people don’t know how to drive. The ONLY thing dangers about riding a motorcycle is you people. The problem is that their are soo many car drivers and they THINK they know what they are doing and often get into a relaxed stat. They feel safe which makes them dangers. LOL they put all those air bag's in because you people cannot stop crashing! I wish they would make cars as dangers as possible then drivers would be doing everything they can to NOT get into an accident. Now I have a question for you, "Why don’t you think about what you say before you say it?" This is a huge problem when people can’t admit when they are the problem. Think about it. If you REALLY want to help bikers be more safe THEN PLEASE STOP HITTING US WITH YOUR CARS!!! LOOOOK WHERE YOU’RE GOING!!!

Thanks for asking this query! These bikes appear exclusive than the cruiser motorcycles, however their reason is the identical ... to get the rider from one situation to an extra! Their most sensible velocity is larger than the velocity restrict ... however so is the highest velocity of my 17 12 months historic pickup truck! They are, for my part, unsightly! But they meet the inspection requisites for a bike, so it's authorized to journey them at the avenue. Their "reason" isn't to velocity. They appear the way in which they do to attraction to a designated marketplace of bike riders. It is viable to journey a "crotch rocket" inside the velocity restrict ... enormous quantities of men and women do it day-to-day! The enthusiasts of those motorcycles like them for the identical intent a few men and women hate them ... their appears and energy to weight ratio! Just as there is not any such factor as a gun that's best well for taking pictures men and women ("attack guns") there is not any such factor as a motorcycle that's best well for rushing! If the computing device is used to damage the legislation, it is the fault of the person ... now not the computing device! If I take an AK-forty seven semi-computerized rifle and use it for goal taking pictures ... am I rather utilising the gun for anything it's not designed for? If i used to be to journey a "crotch rocket" at or under the velocity restrict ... could I be violating the reason of the computing device? The computing device does now not holiday the legislation, the operator does!

Bicycles are still legal, walking is still legal. Both are hard for drivers to see. Motorcycles actually have a lower percentage of accidents than cars. That means that even though you think being in a car is safer, you are much more likely to get in an accident with a car. And I have been hit, by an SUV, while riding my motorcycle (3 years ago). The motorcycle was totaled, I'm still riding; more nervous about distracted or blind drivers, but still riding. However, I will not jump out of a perfectly good airplane. That is also legal.

Well, this is what i believe. One, is that they are faster. Many businesses use them to do deliveries cause their faster than cars and they are able to deliver the item faster and get to the next one instantly. Allowing them to fit more deliveries into their schedule. Second, the way they are made make them look awesome and cool. Many people that are into having awesome, cool looking, "shiny" stuff like cars and motorcycles will buy them, thinking that if what their riding is cool, they're cool. Third, takes up less space. Kind of dumb, but yeah it takes up less space than cars. You don't have to worry about not fitting in tight parking spaces.
Like the other said, they are more economical, and stuff.
This is for Elton, four wheel's as you state them are the ones with the least fault. Motorcylists have the adrenaline pumping to much and they sometimes overdo it, and get into an accident by going over the speed limit and not being able to stop when a car comes in their way. Yeah they might get a special license, but get into the world, some don't even care about what they learned as soon as they get onto the motorcycle. They act like those foolish teens that own cars, they forget everything they learned and just act like idiots and kill themselfs, make parents suffer, and make parents lose a hell of a lot of money (im thinking that the parent bought the car for the teen).

Motorcycles have been on the road with all the other vehicles for a long time--they were and still are more popular than cars here and in other parts of the world where jammed roads are full of cars... they are economical and they meet emissions standards when sold new--what an owner does after that can change all the noise and pollution output. Bad riders and inconsiderate riders enrage people---yes they are a nuisance in some ways--but we must share the road with them. They are a symbol of freedom--freedom of choice and freedom to escape the norms of society--that is why some people like them. We all have to allow that freedom---and hope they can survive our roads everytime they go out. They choose to ride without a helmet where legal--they accept the risks. They challenge the risk factor with a two wheel vehicle that offers no protection. Their only protection is the skill of the operator and the luck not to get hit. It is their choice. Me???--I never was one to want one--I like having 4 wheels and steel around me.

Good question. I've often wondered why individuals are allowed to own private airplanes too. Or why cigarettes are still sold. Or why cattle have been bred for putting on weight quickly, and that property of the meat appears to carry on to those who consume the meat. Or why people are allowed to have big aggressive breeds of dogs, but not allowed to have ferrets (California). Or why politicians think that no one will do the jobs that illegal immigrants do, despite the fact that states that don't have lots of illegal immigrants appear to get things done just fine.
*shrug*
Don't expect your laws to make any sense.
