EDIT: By the way...you need to get a refund on your .02 cents...cause Chevy Chase wasn't in Blazing Saddles. Animal House created the 'Old School' movies. It's brilliant, and at one time was the highest grossest film in history.

I guess that depends on the person. Animal House is just plain splapstick fun. A bit cruel at times, which is why I suppose it appeals to so many..Blazing Saddles is genius. Yes, it could be called a movie full of racial slurs, but as a teenager when it was released, it didn't seem that way. It was clever, well written and poked fun at society as well as itself. I guess you can tell I am a big fan of Blazing Saddles, and most of the movies involving Mel Brooks.

3 oscar nominations, writting by Mel Brooks and Richard Prior, the ballet of farts (first farting in a major film!), a film so grossly un PC that it couldn't be made today. Broke the mold after they made it!
As far as the refund on his 2 cents, I think the comment was stating that any Chevy Chase film is a personal fav, not that he was in Saddles. Come to think of it, Caddy Shack is Genius too!

Blazing Saddles, even though it's full of racist jokes.
Animal House reminds me of Old School. It's funny during the period of it's release in theaters and DVD, but after that it's just another name. Blazing Saddles, or most if not all Chevy Chase movies, are classic. My .02c
