I say considering that a letter was sent out sept 6th spelling out exactly what wasn't allowed and they flagrantly disregarded that letter and basically said F U to the NFL Rules, I say that Goodell dropped the ball on this one. Not only was it a slap on the wrist, but it also send a message that players need to be on a tight leash and watch their backs, and that coaches can do what they want, as long as they don't get caught! I hate to say it, and I am white, but I wonder what would of happen if Belichick was black. It seems that there is a bias factor going on here, and I don't agree with it. If Goodell thinks that the actions of Pacman Jones and Mike Vick made the NFL looked bad, he needs to realize that Belichick and even his own reactions to this situation, is just as damaging to the image of the NFL!

vick, obviously.

vick created a criminal felony. he not only broke the rules of the nfl, he also broke the rules of the united states.
vick is going to jail for an entire year, an that seems like a decent sentence, plus a potential life-time or seasonlong ban from the nfl.

now compare that with belichick.
-he cheated in a game he didnt even need to cheat in to win.
-he only got fined money and has no jail time
-although he broke an NFL rule, he didnt break a criminal rule.

neither of them can justify doing what they did, but vick obviously deserves a much harsher punishment.

I can't believe a decent human being would ask a question like this? OK. What's worse, killing dogs, or a questionable rule violation in football... Um... Tough one, but I think the killing of dogs is probably a LITTLE worse. Let me guess, it's racial, right? Bill got special treatment, right?

Ummm... Let's see...

Michael Vick kills dogs
Bill Belichick video taped the Jet's coaches.

Dead Puppies vs. Taped signals..... Ya that was a smart question....

If Vick is indeed guilty of anything he's accused of, then he is the worst, hands down. Cheating in a game and torturing animals to death aren't even in the same category.

Are you kidding? Michael Vick, of course! He committed a crime that resulted in the torture and death of living beings. Belichick just cheated in a stupid game.

vick. He deserves death just for being a thug! Bill did not do anything that every other team has done or at least tried to do. Vick is just a waste of human life form.
