also , is there like classes i could take for pre-training.
I am a senior in high school, theres a journalism class, but since school has been in progress for 3 weeks its pretty much to late to join the class.

im in public speaking, its a class,where we give speeches and crap , so yeah i think that will help me :)

Major in broadcast journalism.

Syracuse is often regarded as the #1 school for broadcast journalism. But I am proud to say that my alma mater, the University of Georgia is a very excellent journalism university as well (notable journalism alumni include Deborah Norville & Deborah Roberts.)

The first semester of your freshman year in college, you will be assigned an academic advisor. Ask him or her what would be some good "prep" classses to take as a freshman.

Drama and debate classes can both get you ready to be an anchor woman. You should ask about that journalism class, too.
