Amino acids are made up of carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen, and sulfur. Proteins are made of amino acids, but also may have other modifications to them, such as the addition of carbohydrates to make glycoproteins. So, mostly proteins are made up of the 5 atoms listed above, but may have some modifications that add additional atoms to them in a few instances.

Ever hear of CHON?
Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Nitrogen.

Of course there are others, like Potassium and Sodium, but those are the major ones.
