it mainly depends on the size.. most normal ones no.
I'm a Diabetic, I inject myself every nite.
I did have a cortisone shot a year ago.. now THAT looked like a huge needle and i was nervous about getting that shot.. but the Doc froze me a little bit and eased it in very nicely. no pain at all.

No I've never been afraid of Needles at all not even when I was very young I was never ever afraid of Needles at all because I've never thought at all that Needles ever hurt me at all when I got any shots at all because the Hospital people(Nurses/Doctors) always put that numbing stuff on me on the spot/place where they are/were going to give me the shot(s).Wheather its when they are taking blood or shooting something into me.

Regular needles, like for shots, or to have blood taken, I would say no. But I'm terrified of IV's.

Not all needles. Just syringes. I don't mind being pierced, but something about shots creep me out! And only syringes that are pointed towards me. I can give someone else a shot, but I will be damned if I am getting one!

No, I never have been. I was in the U.S. Air Force, back in the 70's, and I got punctured quite a few times. Those guys, wouldn't let ya get scared. They didn't have the time to mess with anyone who was. Peace!

no I always suprise the nurses when they draw blood.I want to watch,I tell them not to warn me about the stick right before they stab you.When they do you expect it and you flinch more.But I am going to get bloodwork done in the morning,needles are nothing after 37 days in the hospital,I might have got used to them to.

I'm not afraid of them, I just dont want a freaking piece of metal in my arm and if the person who sticks it in my body shakes a lot, I just hope it doesnt break off or get stuck!!! So I'm a little paranoid of those!!! Lol.

No, I used to have to give myself 5 shots a day, no big deal.
Insulin Therapy & anti venom injections.
