i live in mississippi, it gets sometime in winter around low 20's to mid 10's ... what time of months do i prune them back??

I am a Certified Master Gardener.

The best time of year to prune your roses is late November through December.

You can do a light trimming now. When you want to cut them all the way back you should wait till January when they are dormant.

late winter/early spring. Not necessary to do it in the fall as you will have to do in the spring to remove the winter kill
