After we were married for 2-3 years, its like he became a 14 year old again. It was nothing for him to blow entire paychecks on video games, baseball cards, and other 'toys'. When bill time came around, he'd say, "Don't worry about it. I'll take care of it." Those were always his famous last words. When I finally broke it off, our daughter was 3, we'd had our power turned off on more than one occasion, nearly had our car repossessed. We fought constantly because I felt like I was raising 2 children, paying all the bills, and working a job that only paid $9.00 an hour. He was completely oblivious as to why this even upset me. At one point I even suggested seeing a counselor. He didn't want anything to do with it, so I finally decided enough was enough. Our daughter didn't need to grow up in an environment like that, so after a lot of very serious thought, I did what I felt was in the best interest of her and me both.

I haven't divorced yet, but I want to. 20 years of a happy marraige, and he goes to Vegas on a business trip and cheats on me. Not only does he cheat, but leaves me and my 2 young children for her. One month later, he realizes what he did and comes back. I know what I have to do, I'm just having a hard time doing it.

My former husband couldn't keep a job and was never home--and surprise, surprise, come to find out he was cheating. My son met someone on the Internet--he said he and his wife seldom had sex, that she was unaffectionate, selfish, lazy, did not even contribute minimally to the well-being of the family.

Because she was sleeping with anyone who would buy her a vodka. Not my idea of a marriage. She wanted to be a "party girl" not a mom with kids and a husband. Had a good thing but had to let it go.

Someone I used to know was divorced by her husband becase after a car accident she was kind of psychotic. She was different, and lied a lot, made things up. He couldn't live with it.

Because he decided to have children at the same time I was pregnant. Only he didn't tell me until my best friend asked me to be god mother to her twins, and him to be the god father, and when we were standing there he told me that the boys were his, oh crap I said and our daughter was born 2 days later, and when I got out of the hospital, I didn't go home I went to another state.

he was a paranoid schitzo and ended up in prison. I couldnt live with what he did, (and still cant). Bipolar and schitzo's really dont go together well, tho we never fought or anything like that. Now he is dead, committed suicide in prison.
