In your opinion, do you believe John Ellis "Jeb" Bush would be the best Presidential Candidate for 2008? Why or why not?

I believe Jeb Bush would be the best candidate for the following reasons;

1. He is related to three great American Presidents. George W. Bush (Brother), George H.W. Bush (Father) and Franklin Pierce (Great-Great-Great Uncle).

2. He would be very passionate about helping the American People just as his brother and father who have shown great enthusiasm about helping the American People, especially America's Poor and Middle Class.

3. Jeb Bush would continue his brothers legacy of Hard Work and Success for Four More Years. George W. Bush is a Great Success and I am for sure his Jeb Bush could continue the success for Four More Years.

4. Jeb Bush would be respected by both Democrats and Republicans.

No, and here's why...

We had 8 years of GHWB as VP. Then we had 4 years of GHWB as President. Then we had 8 years of Bill Clinton as President followed by 8 years of GWB.

That's 28 years - almost 3 decades - of just TWO families running our nation. TOO LONG.

Time for a new family to have a chance. No more Bushes and no more Clintons as President. This is not a monarchy. Your name does not have to be Bush or Clinton to rule. Let someone else have a turn now.

Even if Jeb Bush was all you say he is and more...

Even if he could walk on water, I don't think that he would be the best choice for president at this point in history.

For the same reason I oppose Hillary Clinton as a candidate.

The USA is supposed to be an example of democracy and hope to the world. When the world looks at President Bush the second, or the wife of a recent president as the likely next president, it diminishes the US because it makes you look like a second rate country.

Third world countries are typically ruled by the richest, most influential families and corruption and nepotism runs rampant.
Iraq was run by the Hussein family as is Jordan (Saddam's cousin) Look at Libya and the Kadhaffi clan or North Korea and Kim Jong Ill, or Indonesia, or any sub-Saharan African country.

How do you then turn around and say, "No, it's DIFFERENT here in America, we are not like that!"

Appearances are very important, as is symbolism.

George Washington turned down an offer to make him king.
He also resigned after two terms to set an example.

These sorts of actions and symbols are part of what makes America a great nation.

Is it really that hard to find one or two people out of 300 million that can do an adequate job of administering your country?

Is there really no one out there as good as George W Bush or Bill Clinton?

It just shows how good your country is that between both these chuckleheads, neither one managed to ruin you!

Jeb Bush don't want to run for president this year because of Republican party had struggled on waste of trillions dollars on Iraq War. He decide not to run for president until Election 2016 if the Democrat party would serve White House for the two terms.

i think of you're perfect, that it would be a stressful fought and close election. the two applicants carry specific negatives. i think of a lot of people merely do no longer decide to work out yet another Bush interior the White abode, no count number what. and somewhat some voters, fairly adult men, hate Hillary with a keenness, even although she's so plenty greater centrist than some people have faith. additionally, the GOP will attack Sen. Clinton, rightly or wrongly, along with her previous... Whitewater, her farm animals futures, Vince Foster's suicide, etc. i do no longer think of the two will ultimately run, even although as a Democrat, i might help Hillary Clinton.

I think the Bush's have done enough damage to our country. I don't know where you've been but to say the Bush family cares for the American people is outrageous. But then, you called the 2 Georges "great".

Jeb Bush may be all the good things you say about him but the Bush name is poison in America right now.

You are entitled to your opinion regarding George W. Bush but you are swimming upstream, as you know he is universally hated for lying the US into his personal war in Iraq.

I believe he would be a very good president. He did a great job in Florida as governor. He's pretty much a centrist which would make him likable by both sides. The only problem is, I don't think he really wants to run for president. He also lacks national popularity.

It would be great. Putting another Bush on the Republican ticket is the absolute best way to ensure that the Democrats will win. Go for it.

I'm assuming you're joking, but if you weren't I would have to say that I don't care how great a candidate someone is, I will never vote for someone named Jeb.
