What does everyone think of AT&T?

Question

I currently have Verizon and I am considering changing to AT&T for an iPhone (the iphone has nothing to do with the question) I am not particulary pleased with Verizon's customer service.

I would like to know how much you like/hate AT&T.

And
For everyone in California; How's AT&T's service?

I live in Central California (in the Central Valley) and I almost always get 5 bars. I know friends that have a lot of trouble keeping a Verizon signal in small cities and inside the university, though.

But I'm sure it varies by region. I'm sure in some cities Verizon kicks ***. It just depends where you live at. But most everyone here has AT&T/Cingular. I'm very happy with them.

As far as customer service goes; they're friendly and American. You won't get the Sprint Indian guy talking about NFL football, lol.

i am in texas and let me tell you about At&T. they are horrible they try and charge you for lots of stuff you didn't do we had our phone for 50 years. and they would put things on the bill so if you dont' look over it and stuff you could be paying for somethign you didn't have or ask for they do this its called slamming. it shorribel but they are noted for this. so you know what i did? i went to our local cable co and got the phone, computer and tv all in one and its cut my bill by 50 bucks pluse i have good stuff with all of them i have cell from sprint and that is best one for me they are honest and forth right all the time. i wouldnt' give them the time of day and i hope you are ok with them if you turn to them take care.
