If so then these are for you. Please tell me that you don't wear these hideous things. Atleast they aren't neon green or orange.

Puckdat-LMAO-Yes. Those Capries or Manpries or whatever they are, have no place in this world.

Bowtie is old school. Hollis Thomas, former Iggles player was big on those so I can let that slide. LOL

Was your wife Peggy Hill of "King of the Hill?"
Chris, easy fella. Pre-season don't mean squat.

Erica-LMAO- I was worried but at the same time I was thinking that somebody was finally going to admit their shortcomings.
All the escalators now have warning stickers around here.

Erica- admitting you have a problem is the first step.

Erica-LMAO- Foppa's weak ankles explained. Actually, a friend of a friend is a foot doctor (pediatrician?) and she told me that her friend told her that they are terrible for your foot support and lead to many foot problems. Ironic.

As awful as Crocs are, they can't hold a candle to the disaster that are the NHL's new uniform designs.

EDIT: Lubers, have you seen the Sharks new duds? Holy teal crayola nightmare, batman. I'm also blown away that the Stars went the college jersey route with the number under the city name. How very BU of them. A coincidence that RBK is based in Boston? Hmmm

Awful, awful, awful. For the most part, it looks like an unfortunate collision between championship soccer, the tour de france and the XFL out there.

I wonder if the league will start tracking epileptic seizure rates resulting from their visual assault on fans' corneas.

Oilers uni's look nice, though, I must say. lol

Oh jeez, my 11 year old daughter has a couple of pairs of those in neon green and pink. At least the NHL models don't have the charms in the holes.

I am guessing that I am not fashionably challenged because not in a million years would I put those on my feet. I just returned from Seattle where Washington played Ohio State this past weekend. You would be surprised at the number of people wearing those in either purple or red and black.

Erica: I read that article as well. Here is the link to the AP story. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070918/ap_on_re_us/crocs_escalator_dangers_14

Zap: I just saw the Flyers and Senators sweaters and I have to say that both look like upgrades from what they had before, at least from a design standpoint. I am not a fan of the tight fitting sweaters, but I like the designs of both sweaters better.

LOL. That was kind of catty of you Bob. :P
They are hideous when you just look at them by themselves... But on SOME people, Crocs don't look too bad. I tried someone's on before to see just what the heck people are so crazy about them for, and they ARE comfy... Did you hear about the increasing amount of "escalator accidents" occuring with people who wear them? No lie, I saw it on the news yesterday.
I don't own a pair though. I know you were worried, haha.

ADD: LOL. No, no, I'm a little bit of a shoe connoisseur. I LOVE shoes. My best friend and I wear about the same size, and she loves shoes too, so sometimes I wear a different pair of shoes every day of the week.

I wear a size 9 or 10 in shoes no way in heck would I wear something that make my feet look bigger. Those are fugly.

yeah I've been called Bigfoot.. Jolly Green Giant..Daddy Long Legs..Flamingo...The Stork...
ok I'll prolly regret it but what do they say about girls w/big feet? *** oh ok I have been told if I was a dude I'd be well endowed.

Like I'm telling You..It's heck trying to find shoes that fit and look good. I can water ski w/o skis and stomp out forest fires though ;)

I dont' wear them, but I've tired a pair on and they're incredibly light and comfortable. Personally I don't really care what things look like in every day life, I'm a practicality oriented type guy. Crocs are fine by me, but there is no need for NHL crocs...

By the way- Crosby wears them (don't think they're team ones though)

On Sunday I was dressed in my leather work boots, gray Eagles sweatpants, Brett Favre jersey (hey Eagles fan or not, $175 is too much to spend just to hang in the closet), and my new Nextel Cup hat.

Now THAT is fashionably challenged. At least the only croc's that I would be found dead in are at the Philadelphia Zoo. And I ain't in any hurry to climb into that tank.

I prefer clothes that stand the tests of time. That's why I choose to shop the Howard Cosell collection, available exclusively at Value Village.

The NHL logo doesn't make up for that much ugly. Besides, $35.?

Bob.............are you saying you don't like my bowtie?

Note: Edmonton just scored

Jenni M...I feel for you, my ex-wife wore a size 11 (she's 5'10" - or was, on;y 5'9" now I think). We'd have to go shoe shopping for hours just to find her anything. In Chicago....all the shoe salesmen are Al Bundy!

2Eighty8...No, she was a catalogue model for years in the 60s and 70s for a small Chicago based company called Sears. When we got divorced, she married one of their executives. She's still quite attractive to this day. She's from a small town in Ontario called Cayuga....not too far west of Toronto.

Bob - I put quotes around the 'small' but they didn;t show up

2Eighty8 - Not offended at all, it took me a couple of minutes to get it though

Jenni M - I know all about your shoe woes, I just hope the man in your life is stronger about it than I am :)
