I go bonkers for some filet mignon with a sprinkle of seitan. But when I asked a waiter for some slighlty seasoned seitan at my local restaurant, she... Well, you would be better off not knowing. Can I buy seitan at Ebay or some other restaurant??

Seitan the processed food may be found at the Mock Butcher Shoppe on 3rd and Carmichael or dining inside "Fire And Ice" in downtown Providence. Haven't been there yet but I know there is a huge barbecue spit and patrons watch as Seitan's workers cook their beloved filet mignon and baby-kabobs. I hear God's got a job there.

Asian restaurants often use seitan as a mock meat, and seitan is also the base for several commercially available products such as Tofurky deli slices.
You can try a liquor store!

Ah, stay a splash. purely don't get something deep fried. Steamed tofu is very bland and does not have a very sturdy texture. Many chinese language eating places have a nutrition regimen menu with steamed thoughts or low-cal sauces, and you will see what they have there.
