Wow. Depression. It seriously runs in my family. Okay well I had depression but I overcame it without meds or anything. It was amazing. What you need to do is get out a sheet of paper and write down all the positive things in your life and concentrate on those things. Okay then, you need to make friends, or make time for friends. You need to get out have a good time, cut lose, go wild, do something totally out there and crazy! It's gonna help. Also make time for just you everyday. whether it's ten minutes of lying down or an hour of reading while soaking in a hot bubble bath then wrapping up in a warm towel fresh out the dryer. Try not to think of the bad and when you start to feel down or upset start talking to someone your close to. That's my best advice I can give but I sure hope it helped and good luck with your life.
