Not by a long shot. He will never be Dre. Dr. Dre is not only one of the best but Dr. Dre. is important to rap music. Dr. Dre has created a STYLE of music not just beats. Dr. Dre. discovered who YOU think is the best. That is like saying Jesus is more powerful and important than God. The student is never as good as the teacher.

Sorry to break it to you. He isn't. DRE IS THE ****. I mean I love Shady but producer he ain't he just picked up what Dre taught him, so obv if u learn from the best you can do well. But dre will never be outdone no one comes close. Timbo, Neptunes........ close...but not close enuf

He uses the same drum samples over and over or has dramatic strings. He doesnt branch out and every song ends up with the same sound.
