There is no immediate fix for that unless you know someone with a scanner that can shut it off for you buy tomorrow. This is no guarantee it will stay off unless it is some simple problem like your gas cap is off.

Here's a couple of solutions:
1. Take it to your local Advance Auto Parts and tell them that your check engine light came on and ask if they would check to see whats wrong and if they would take the light off.
2. Disconnect your battery cables wait a minute or two then connect them back to the battery. This will temporary remove the check engine light.
Hope this helps!

Why should it matter whether or not the check engine light is on or off. The DMV examiner is there to evaluate your driving, not the condition of your vehicle. They could care less about a light.

if its tomorrow how can you not have time. The easiest way is take the bulb out or cover it with something they normally dont check but dont place a big pic there since it could be considered and obstruction.....see if you reset the light and its a problem that needs to be fixed it will come back on or you can also disconect the battery and hope it does not come on....luck

take a battery cable off and put it back on. and the engine light will turn off for a few days. or take it to autozone and beg one of them to erase the light for you to take your driving test. or by the tester from autozone and erase the code your self and the light will go off.

Well dude, since you didn't give us ANY information to go on, like make, model, year, engine, symptoms, we can only give you one answer: You're not going to be taking your test tomorrow.
