I really love Liba Bray's series, which include the books, A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels, and the third one which has yet to come out.(These are romance/magic/and action) The Twilight Series is awesome. (This is for vampire/romance lovers) Maximum Ride Series, (which is awesome. It's action/fantasy/a little bit of romance. Hope I could help. Oh and the Pendragon series by DJ Machale is very good too.

Lord of the Rings is my absolute favourite, read it lots of times, but if you like that sort of thing get, The Silmarillion or either of The Book of Lost Tales by Tolkein, very good reading and background on Middle Earth.

The Stand by Stephen King...I had to buy another copy because I reread it so many times I wore the poor book out. It is not his typical horror story book, but it is good versus evil. Hard to explain but a very, very good read :-)
