A long time - you should think twice before jumping into another marriage no matter what state you live in. Y make the same mistake twice!!!

Crystal is correct in Texas...we have a 30 day waiting period before you can marry anyone other than remarrying your ex.....the reason for the waiting period is that you can still file a motion for new trial or appeal the divorce for 30 days...it would be a bit complex if you remarried and then there was an appeal that threw out the divorce....you can get a Judge to waive the requirement but they don't like to for obvious reasons...each state regulates their own rules so check it out for your state

as far as I know state wide it is a minimum of six month before one can remarry. and if I were you I would stop take a deep breath and decide why you or the other are getting a divorce and then think about why you think you need to remarry right away.

As far as I know you can remarry as soon as your divorce is final. Same day even.
