Most often accomplished with Ficus, the process takes patience IF done properly. As the tree grows you'll need to twist/wrap/ tie the tree to another, similar to BRAIDING; in the same pot/spot. TRAINING the tree, much like a VINE. You'll have to prune it and treat it as you would otherwise. In essence you're FORCING the plant into an unnatural growth pattern.

your links are deadends; I'm assuming you topiary trees.

If you want a live one, it takes years and years of training and nursing a tree upward on a specially shaped or designed frame.

If you want an artificial one, I wouldn't have a clue as to how to make one.
