To be. (To be is better than to not be I guess. LOL)

To Be is better in my opinion for now. When the time is right to not be we shall all know it. Do you have the strength to be at this point? Or shall you take the "easy" what out and not be? For some this is NOT a valid choice, although the eternal sleep would be nice, and is nice to dream about. But when the dreams come and you do not have the choice to wake, what will you do then?

To be or not to be, that is the question;
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing, end them. To die, to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to — 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub,
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause. There's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life,
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
Th'oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office, and the spurns
That patient merit of th'unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscovered country from whose bourn
No traveller returns, puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all,
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pitch[1] and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of action.

To be is only seemingly better to humans having no idea what, if anything, we would "be" otherwise; say, for example, alot of people believe that each one of us is a "spirit piece" of whatever, commonly, if perhaps erroneously, is called God. You must think that even being Nelson Rockefeller or Jesus Christ cannot be as great as being an actual "slice" of whatever God is. So, maybe not being is actually better; although, I imagine that being a part of God gets a little boring, as we call it, after a few "eternities", so that, even being a bum covered in week-old urine and picking up cigarettes off the ground can be worth the temporary disconnection. Of course, whether we are disconnected in the first place, is a question of debate.

reminds me of a little thing I composed some years ago---maybe 15 years ago, called "The Pronoun Rap."

You have to say it out loud, and fast. The beat fits into practically any rap "song"

She be I be ho be we be mo fo yo!

That is, roughly translated, "she is, I am, the lady is, we are, anybody, everybody!"

I am, and you certainly are, and we are, and are we having fun yet?

You just said it's better to die.

Well, since you picked to be, I'll pick not to be. Do I get your chocolate chip cookies afterwards?
