Donovan McNabb is always in the middle of something because he is always whining. He can't handle criticism. A professional isn't supposed to let the criticism get to them. I think it has less to do with him being black, and more to do with him having a fragile ego. All quarterbacks get criticized, but you don't hear them pulling the race card. There is no room for racism in professional sports, especially when minorities are the majority. There would be more black quarterbacks if there were more black quarterbacks that were good enough to actually play the quarterback position in the NFL. And can we please avoid ignorant, uninformed, and racist comments here?

Dude, I agree that McNabb is a B_itch but check this out. Listen, I have done this poll with many of my associates and they all agree. Name the top three quarterbacks in the league. Every one of them, 100 people to be exact, and they all picked these players ---
1. Peyton Manning
2. Tom Brady
3. Carson Palmer
Now tell me why Carson is number 3, despite the fact that his team has never been to the AFC championship under his watch, and McNabb has been to four NFC championship games and a Super Bowl, yet he doesn't even crack the top three. Carson was injured and he still remains at number 3. Why is that?!!! Where Steve McNair?!! Mike Vick?!! Culpepper?!!! Lechwich?! All of these aforementioned quarterbacks have victories over the top three quarterbacks, yet they aren't even in the conversation of great quarterbacks. Why is that?!! Hell, McNair had the best season ever for a black quarterback and he still had to share it with Manning. What?! When Vick had that great run when he broke the rushing record for a quarterback, he didn't even get mention for MVP. What?! C'mon, the facts clearly show that even if Manning had a great statistically year and they don't make the playoffs, he will still get mentioned for M.V.P. But McNabb could go to the Super Bowl and he will still be considered an average quarterback. Hell, check this out!! I asked as a bonus the next two quarterbacks in the league and they all said ---
4. Ben Roshlesbuger
5. Matt Hassleback
What?!! Neither of these guys is black, right?!! Yet McNabb and McNair are even in the mix. For the record, I'm not saying that race has anything to do with performance, but if you look at it from McNabb's point of view, you see why a black quarterback has to do more than a white quarterback. And don't give me that argument about Rex Grossman getting criticized. If Rex was black, he won't be in the league now. Don't believe me --- ask Aaron Brooks!! This argument certainly has legs. Thanks for the vine. Holla ata playa playa!!! Game!!!

playaplayagame seems way off course on his answer.
"top three quarterbacks 1. Peyton Manning 2. Tom Brady

Simply those are the 3 best, Mcnabb would've made the list 3 years ago. Mcnair had a couple good years, but never was a great passer, Vick has never been a good passer, Culpepper is now on his 3rd team and couldn't beat out Josh McNown, Leftwich got beat out by Garrard and then nobody wanted him at first. Oh, and guess who the 3 leaders in passing yards are right now, yup you listed them! Garrard is actually 13th in yards, but that makes him #1 among black QB's.
"4. Ben Roshlesbuger 5. Matt Hassleback"
I would rank Mcnabb 4th ahead of Hassleback personally.
"And don't give me that argument about Rex Grossman getting criticized. If Rex was black, he won't be in the league now."
That's not true...he'd just be moved to WR!_!
"Don't believe me --- ask Aaron Brooks!!"
Yes, good example of a guy who made it to the playoffs once and lost, then couldn't even win the Raiders job last year. Amazing how his whole family has thrown away their talent is on the street now. (Mike/Marcus Vick, Aaron Brooks their cousin)
I agree with the guy asking the question, there just aren't that many good black quarterbacks in the league, maybe if Vince Young had some receivers he could step up his game.

He plays in Philly, that's the problem.
Philly sets up their teams (well hockey and football) to fail with their win or die mentality. If they don't win it all, its complain complain complain. Look at what happened to Eric Lindros with the Flyers. Destroy a person's will with delusions of grandeur and infinite superiority.
They expect their teams to win every thing every year then make someone else the scapegoat when they cannot meet expectations. Put him in KC or Carolina or Seattle and no one will pay attention to him because he will be a serviceable and mediocre QB. Since he's in Philly, he was sent there by a higher power to give Philly the Superbowl. Its all about Philly.
McNabb has been whiny for years so why is anyone surprised he is blaming others for his shortcomings? He doesn't understand that his best days are behind him. What he said after Patriots filming craze says it all about him.......he wants his ring back from the 05 Superbowl. McChump lost it (TO said so) but its not his fault....oh no its not his fault.

You are 100% correct. McNabb is a media hog. Seems like he's always in the middle of something, but he's always the victim. I'm starting to be on T.O.'s side about McNabb.

McNabb is a jealous person. He wants all the attention towards him. And it's driving us Eagles fans crazy.
