I don't have sympathy for them because I do not believe people are born evil. Yes because of some people's circumstances maybe doing bad things is the easier choice. It is a choice though, so they are choosing it and they have to live with it. Everyone has some crap to deal with, it doesn't make us do bad things unless that's what we decide will happen.
I don't think people should hate evil people, what would that do?
Anywho, the laws are based on the morals of society, so yeah, doing bad things isn't generally accepted. If people want to bottle things up that's their problem, do you think they should go stab someone when they are pissed off instead?

I think we become what we're condition to become, provided
we also have the right kind of genitic traits given our heredity.
As for where one draws the line is anyone's guess anymore.
Far as i'm concerned there is no more line, we not only have
permission to scream fire in the theatre when there is no fire,
but now we can even burn the theatre down . . .
I don't beleive people are bad just weak, and the strong
should help the weak but the iorny is that the strong have
forgotten when they were weak . . .
I mean think of this, right now at this moment who are you worrying about?
if your on this computer then more than likely what you eat tonight for supper will come from your refridgarator instead of a dumpster . . .
When's the last time any one invited a homeless person to dinner or share a room in there house to sleep?my self included . . .

What? I completely disagree. No One is born evil. What you see, hear & learn through out life (childhood) decides your evilness I know many will disagree but really WHAT YOU DO IS A CHOICE... I know the studies done blah blah blah,,, but these were learned & developed over a period of time. I am sure the serial killers brain did not show disfunctional as a baby as it does now, it developed over time... I don't sympathine ONLY for the victims. By the way what have you done wrong?

I think it might be better understood!?!; maybe if those that may do certain evils to be taught of how wrong a choice may have been to take on !!?!! Make sure it's understood properly !! & then trying again!?! Maybe at other angles !! & If certain somethings keep going on or taking place... Then new or different tactics may be called for !?! measures... & or Let those that may lack understanding see various ways that things should be done that's more exceptable !?!& try again once they are seen to have understanding!?! So some sympathy may be called for!?! `'R'`r,r`r.r'.-

Yes, as corny as it sounds I feel that at the end of the day evil people need love and and compassion too. Their 'evil' actions are sometimes cause by chemical imbalances in the brain and most people are just a product of their environment...a child from an abusive/unfit home doesn't grow into a well adjusted adult.

personally, i dont believe in evil. even murder is mostly a consequence of someones actions (or possibly a genetic defect). what im trying to say is that the man who commits an "evil" act did not do so out of the evil of the act or just due to a tendency to commit evil. there are psychological factors that affect the way people percieve their actions and the consequences that follow them.
so to answer your question, yes, i feel bad for the wicked. they have been tarnished by their parents/environment.

Ah.. a question of good and evil. But see here is the thing, who are we to judge what is evil. Automatically we know, rape, murder. such things are evil...
But what else is deemed evil? is it our place...
I honestly think that people like that are sick. Weither they were born that way, or something tramatic happened to make them like that. Or perhaps they are just taking after their adult figures they had as a child? I feel sympathy for those with dark in their souls...because something must have happened to hurt them to make them sick in the mind to be that way. No one is born evil. We are all creations and children of the sky. Evil is born into us. Its a seed that is planted...and for those who have had that seed planted within them...it is a majority of the time not their fault.

If I believed that we do not have choices, I would be inclined to have some sympathy for evil doers.
But then, what is evil? Is it just bad behavior? Or does it transcend behavior? Does evil include diabolical thoughts and plots?

i doubt anyone is BORN evil but the reason i have sympathy for them is b/c theres a reason that they turned evil so to speak b/c something so horrible or terrifying happened 2 them nd they don't have the guts 2 suck it up so they use their anger to ruin other ppls lives by making them suffer 2, i really don't have any respect for those kinds of ppl but i defintely have pity

simply stated, it is the evil that we hate. not the person. the purpose of punishment is to correct. not destroy. If a person holds so tight a grasp on evil designs, he has to be locked away from his victims. Not because we hate him. but because he is a danger.
