My husband and I are TTC #1 and we are just wondering how much it costs for a normal vaginal delivery? WHat about Csection? I have Blue Cross so most of my expenses will be paid I was just wondering?

Laura depends on what state and what your blue cross covers. My blue cross you pay the first co pay to doctor then none after that. It is 80/20 and a 500 deducable per year. Then my hospital has a websight that lists the average cost of each. That is just the standard. But it all depends it can go up from there because if you do an epaderal how much meds if you have a complication if your baby has a complication... etc... but check with the hospital web site and your blue cross web site.

My son's bill was almost 7000, and mine was almost 4000. I had a vaginal delivery.

alot...i would guess 3-4000 for normal (including baby's care), and maybe 5-6000 for csection...just a guess though

i've always heard its anywhere from 10,000-15,000 not sure though it also matters what all you have done, meds, how long you stay etc.
