I wonder if Mastodons and Smilodons were worried about Global cooling. Everything is cyclic as far as earth's temperature goes, just like the tide. While it is true that overall the temp is going up incrementally, is anything we're doing the cause. People smarter than me are trying to figure out the science. People way dumber than me, that have their strings being pulled on national TV to try to get an oblong place to work from, are arguing about it.

If you go back and look at the highest temps. recorded over the last 100 years, you will see that "global warming" doesn't have much validity. There have been much higher ambient temperatures recorded in the U.S. long before the modern industrial age & millions of cars were on the road which ecologists say is the number one contributor to global warming! I believe that global warming is more of a political issue to try to win votes in an election than a real ecological "crisis"!

I think that everyone should be worried about global warming. It may not threat ourselves alone for the next few decades on earth, but think about our grandchildren or great grandchildren not growing up to see polar bears and penguins. Many animals may come extinct in cause of global warming. It threats the oceans and the temperatures are getting extreme.
All should be aware of what to come for humans and all living kind in the future,.

Anyone who thinks that global warming is not a big deal needs to read the evidence -- facts like the rate of melting in Greenland. Time to wake up and make changes!
