Is it a good game to get, even for the price?

I've been a gamer pretty much all my life and I have to say world of warcraft is the best game I've ever played. In my opinion it's definitely worth the price to play. Now as for your school, that should always come first. This game is very addicting and it's easy to blow off other obligations to play the game more. It also takes a lot of time and effort on your part to get far in the game. However, make sure you know where your priorites are and limit your playing time if need be. If you can balance time for school and time for the game then you're all set.

In a simple word. No.
You pay 15$$ a month to play it so you feel the need to play it 24/7 so you can get the most bang for your buck. I would suggest trying Guild Wars. It's super addictive but there is no monthly fee and TONS of players. It's a MMORPG for the casual gamer that actually has a life or duties. You won't be disappointed by it. Sure it's 10-20 bucks more than WoW but it's actually cheaper since you have to pay 15$ to play it each month.

Never ever lose yourself in ambition. That's a wonderful game you have the opportunity to meet millions of people and do a lot of team work (raids, group quests) Especially the raids are the best example of a team work of people coming from different social lives (in my opinion). But there is a serious risk of addiction. In this game your character has a continious progress so it is so easy to lose yourself in the challenge to get to the next level. Do not do that sometimes (in the game) people around you may push you to progress quick but do not listen. Just don't get addicted however it's a very good game.

It's a very fun game...it immerses you in a whole world. I work a full time job and am married...my wife and I both play whenever we can. I actually think the price is quite good for all that you get in this game.

Sure it's a good game, but just be sure not to let yourself become addicted to it. One kid in my class is so addicted to it, he won't go to school for many days just because he's stayed up so late playing it.

One of my employees plays this game.....NOT GOOD FOR ANYONE WHO HAS ANY RESPONSIBILITIES or for that matter a life!!!!
If you have no life or ambitions in life, then by all means play the game.
