Ooooohhhh! I don't know for sure, but have read somewhere that chocolate contains chemicals which make us feel really good-
http://www.chocolate.org/
I eat more chocolate when pre-menstrual(I feel calmer and happier afterwards), but lol, never will watch Oprah though, would rather read a good horror story/watch a movie while eating.
Had to laugh at Baba Yaga's answer, that's a classic.

I have wondered this myself.
When I stand in the line at the supermarket, I see women in line glancing at the chocolate, picking it up, fondling it, and usually putting a few on the counter for purchase.
Men eat chocolate. I eat chocolate. But men just see it as any other candy. It's sweet, it's tasty, but it's nothing special. It's just candy and that's the end of it. Women actually have orgasms when they eat chocolate, and it makes no sense.
When I see women eating chocolate, I notice that their eyes roll in the back of their head and they moan and massage the chocolate in their mouth with their tongue. It's really interesting and creepy to watch all at the same time. These women usually break off pieces of the chocolate, hold it between their index finger and thumb, and will stare and marvel at it in their own little worlds of euphoria. Picture the stare of a predator in the wild hungrily eyeing its prey -- a hawk for instance, hovering above observing a field mouse. That's exactly how women look at the broken piece of chocolate in their hands. It's an incredible sight to behold.
You know how men just want a beer and a football game?
Women want chocolate and an episode of Oprah.

I can't explain the feeling but it's very pleasurable. I just almost finished eating a box of chocolate and even though I know I have to do an extra two miles tonight, it was well worth it.

Sex and chocolate stimulate the same part of the brain, for your information.

Yeah, sometimes I eat chocolate, but mostly, I like it when someone eats it off of me. It's just more fun that way... and I don't have to worry about calories.
