Mine are usually open to wake up with the sun, if I am not already up! I prefer them shut though on the weekends so I can try to sleep in!

I don't have curtains - only blinds. They are closed for privacy (I live in an apartment). If I had curtains in addition to my blinds, I'd certainly keep the curtains open, especially any time I had to get up rather than sleeping in. The body responds to sunlight, even though our closed eyelids block some of it. It's how our body "clock" gets set, and it's important!

Shut, why would I want the sun to wake me up? Thats almost eight oclock. I'm usually just falling asleep

I don't have curtains. And my bedroom is two hundred feet up and less than two miles from a major airport. I can read clearly when the lights are turned off all night. I really should get some curtains.

Shut. But they are a really light peachy color so I can still see the light from the sun in the morning, and not have people from outside look inside during the night. ya get it?

I have a heavily wooded area outside my windows so they stay open 24/7!!! I like for the sun to wake me up in the morning!!!

I sleep with them open so I can look at the moon if it is outside my window and when I sleep in the sun will wake me when it is ready to wake me.
