Chloe Lana Gilbert (Lar-nah not Lay-nah)
Amara Holly Gilbert

Max Patrick Gilbert
Jake Patrick Gilbert

Would help if you could pick one or the other! If you can't, tell me why you don't like them (i won't get offended just don't be nasty! lol)

Thanks!

I get what you are saying about "Lana" but because we live in AUS things are pronounced a little differently here. Lana is also a family name (mother and grandmother) so is Holly and Patrick that is why they are in there. hope that clears things up :)

I was so confused as to why you were saying an "r" in Lana. But I get it now. :D Gotta love the accents. ANYWAY!

I love the name Chloe Lana Gilbert! I think it's a beautiful name. :) Very unique.

I like it better than Amara because... well, I just don't like the first name all that much. Too many A's for me.

As for the boys: I prefer Max Patrick Gilbert. I've always liked the name Max. I think it's cute. :)

Great job picking out cute names though!! Any of the names would be okay. None of them are anything to be ashamed of.

I like both Chloe and Amara as first names, though I'm not sure how you get an R sound out of Lana. ;) I'm assuming you meant LAH-nah, which is the most familiar pronunciation, after all. It can also be said LANN-ah and LAY-nah (as you mentioned), but not LAR-nah.

Both boy names are too informal for my taste, though either is fine as a nickname, and I'm not sure which I'd choose if need be. Initially, I was going to say that Max Patrick was too repetitive with the similar A's in the beginning syllables -- immediately reminded me of Max Factor LOL -- but on the other hand, there are just so many Jacob/Jake/Jacks out there, I'm not sure I'd want to add to their numbers. Your call. ;)

Hope that helps.

Chloe is a beautiful name...I love it! Amara is original, not to many Amara's running around. I don't like the middle name of Lana, if its pronounced Lar-nah, because it will always be mispronounced as it doesn't have an "r" in it. Lana is pretty pronounced Lan-na.

I don't really like either boy name...but if I had to pick one it would be Jake. I like Logan, Gavin, Austin, and Ayden for boy names :) My sons are named Austin and Ayden though, so I am biased. :)

I love the name Chloe its so cute....but Lana isn't my favorite...I think Chloe Marie is pretty...
( hollys pretty too but it doesnt sound right with amara...
But defintely don't name your baby amara...it's not the nicest name...sry
But I love the name jake....I dont like the name patrick but
Jake Max Gilbert is nice

so My advice go with either Jake or Chloe C(:
and think about Marie as a middle name....
