if F.I.N.E. = f'ed up, insecure, neurotic, and egotistical

Several other Presidents have dealt with much more, and done far better

The people at the controls right now are ideologues, and if they have their way we will end up with some kind of unholy alliance of big business and Christian conservatism. Military-industrial theocracy isn't something I would like to live under. I used to vote Republican. I won't anymore. I didn't leave the GOP; they left me. But the Dems aren't much better. A viable Independent Party might be the answer, but the pols on both sides of the aisle will do their level best to stop that from happening, because it threatens their grip on power. Yeah, I'd call that a crisis. W will go down, I am confident, as the worst President we have ever had, against some stiff competition (e.g., Harding). The damage he has done -- diplomatic, social, financial, military -- will take generations to correct. He richly deserves to be impeached, or even tried as a war criminal. But I don't think we are up to that, because we are too apathetic, lazy, and happy.

I'll admit I voted for him, but I'm really disappointed in him. I understand why we went into Iraq, but I think more attention should go to North Korea and China. We went into Iraq without a long term plan. Now we're there and can't leave until it's straightened out. What has he done domestically? I'm not aware of any major laws or ideas or anything that have gone into effect. Don't get me started on the tax cuts. It was great before we were in war, but it needs to be altered now. Our deficit is huge. We can't really afford tax cuts at this moment. I must admit, I'm scared about who is gonna be elected next term. God help us!!

Of Course not.

He is a liar and has uses the office of president for his political agenda regardless of how many of out troops got killed.

He has exploded the size of the government, cut taxes on the richest people and borrowed money from China to pay for it. Money that my kids and grand-kids are going to have to pay back.

The US president is a hard job, and Bush is simply not up to the task. It only sad, most people did not figure it out until after the 2004 election.

"Understand the pressure he is in"...he created his own pressure by invading a country that didn't even attack us. My answer is No he is Not doing a fine job as president The following statements pretty much sum up why:

"The administration's high crimes are hiding in plain sight:

Whereas the administration "fixed" intelligence to embark on a war of choice, unsanctioned by international law.

Whereas a criminally incompetent lack of planning has caused that conflict to drag on longer than U.S. involvement in World War II, while spurring the nuclear ambitions of the mullahs in Tehran.

Whereas the president authorized the National Security Administration to engage in warrantless wiretaps of American citizens in violation of the First Amendment, the Fourth Amendment, the doctrine of separation of powers, and the express will of Congress in establishing the fisa courts.

Whereas the president has authorized the use of torture in contravention of military law and Article Three of the Geneva Convention, violations of which, as Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy pointedly observed in the Hamdan decision, "are considered 'war crimes,' punishable as federal offenses."

Whereas the president has subjected "enemy combatants" to unconstitutional trial by military tribunal, and held American citizens in indefinite detention without access to lawyers or criminal courts.

Whereas the administration's homicidal dithering left more than a thousand of our most vulnerable countrymen to perish, needlessly, under the waters churned by Hurricane Katrina.

The articles of impeachment write themselves."

I'll give you a no and I voted for him twice. I don't believe that he has in fact made the best decisions available under the stress he's been under. Frankly, the decision to let Bin Laden off the hook and attack Iraq was horrible as it allowed Al qaeda to reform and hide again. It also provided them with a proving ground in Iraq where they can try different tactics. Couple that with a nonexistent domestic policy and you have the recipe for a disastrous 7 years.

Greetings. I am not a democrat, would not be one even if they were the only political party running. I think Bush is a war criminal and a inhuman beast, possibly the religious Anti-Christ. the pressure he is under has nothing to do with his ignorance or his total lack of human compassion. nor his total lack of any idea of the harm he is doing to the country and to our reputation in the world. he is only out to grab whatever he can in money, fame and prestigue. He cares nothing about our country or our constitution. Doing fine as a presidentt? You expose yourself here. only a hard core Republican could possibly think that he is doing any sort of job. not even one good enough to be classed as lousy. He should be hung for his crimes against humanity and our nation.

He is spreading fear around the world. This is not a good response to 9/11. It is like pouring gasoline on a fire.

We must use our minds... Gather and analyze intelligence... Respond appropriately from the facts that the intelligence presents.

Shock and awe? Yes it is.

You are joking right? I won't give you only a no but will expand. Why are you trying to limit my free speech? Bush is a liar, corrupt, incompetent, arrogant and greedy. He is doing the worst job of any president ever.

No. I was a fan during his first term. He was doing pretty much everything right.

However his second term has been a miserable failure. I cannot count one success, except that the eeconomic expansion has continued past his first term. However that is looking like that's coming to an end too. Well, OK, he did make 2 out of 3 good Supreme Court nominations too.

Unfortunately, it's just like the warnings I get with my mutual funds. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.

To be fair, we would have been a laughing stock had we picked John Kerry. Another worthless choice.

Bush has single handedly alienated both parties in a very negative way. He is not working for the people, he seems to be working for himself. I say he has done a piss poor job!
