Wish to consolidate the brain power ! Do you think it is fair to say... with this group, a removal tenant would have to go through legal & court, officers of the law etc. ? provided he has a valid lease ? A private company could not just have the sheriff remove his belongings without notice, without the proper legal steps and proceedure.

A landlord nor the Sheriff can remove clothing or any other items without due process. Can one be removed physically yes. But not legally. If a tenant or flopper moves in he has legal rights. If he is smart enough to receive mail he has legal standing ground. It can take months to legally remove an unwanted tenant with or without a lease. This is Ca. LAW

My suggestion is help him on his way .
