I actually agree. Why not start now!?!?! :)
People need to stop having 4, 5, 6, 7, + kids. The world can NOT sustain these numbers. Think about what it's going to be like in 50 years, 100 years if we keep reproducing like that. And this is in YOUR life time, in your kids' lifetime, in your grandkids'. This is not something that's going to have an effect in a million years. We will really feel the crunch for resources soon.
However, I just read an article in US News magazine the other day on childhood obesity, and they made a comment that because of the growing problems with obesity, this may be the first time that a generation will actually have a longer life expectancy than their children. Maybe obesity is a blessing in disguise. (kidding).
I agree though, seriously, people should stop having so many children.
Whether we put a number on it, or have some sort of licensing you have to go through, I think there should be more regulation.

Women will stop having children when abortion becomes 100% accepted and when human beings stop having sex. It's a nice idea, but no way would it work in this generation.
