Yes, I think they do. Observe how our kids talk. They imitate what they see on TV and computer games. As for sex and violence, statistical evidence clearly shows a link.

Especially for the weak minded, and the followers and also prier pressure, the media has a big influence on our teens, behavior. Violence and graphic language has proved that, just look at the road that some of our young adults are taking today. It speaks for itself. and it will continue to do this unless, we all start teaching our kids the right way, and this starts in the home. Good Luck on your essay.

anything in the movies influence teen behavior because the central character of any good movie has to find ways to connect with the viewer/(make the viewer admire/identify with him/her through character, actions or gadgets). The consequence is that for that few seconds after the film is over, the viewer imagines himself as the central character. However, the effect never lasts long...

It only influences teens that use graphic language and act violently.
But you have to remember that we have had both foul language and violence long before we had our modern forms of communication, so it probably doesnt cause violence, but it does influence how its carried out.
