curtis martin is one of the greatest running backs of all time, and you never hear anything about him...4th all time leading rusher, he was incredible...and he didnt play for a very good team...i just dont feel he got the credit for what he deserves

darn right....but its all about who you play for....he never was in or won the superbowl(sad reasoning) but thats how great players are remembered...he was no ladamien tomlinson or barry sanders either but he was still very good at what he did

I will agree he is good and under rated but that is easily done when you play for a team that has so few fans and is never talked about. You will waste away in a place like the Jets and be over looked and under rated. The Jets , I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST THE JETS, are never in the spotlight an I don't know why.

Martin made the mistake of following Parcells into the NY Jets. That sealed it for him and any chance of a superbowl ring.

Martin on bad teams? NE superbowl team?
I think its a lack of several big years like 2000 yds rushing.
He piled up his yds very quitely and wasn't a flashy guy to watch!

true...he is a very underrated back and never got much publicity and most people dont know he is 4th all time in rushing yrds. but is he HOF stuff? im not so sure. its a toss up for me.
