I got my license on the first try, with a piece of advice from the lady that gave me the road test..lol..which I took very gratefully, as long as she was still gonna give me my driver's license..well, take care and PEACE to you and yours..;0)

Twice, but the first time didn't really count because I did not have a DMV instructor take me out on the road test. The woman was the manager and was scared ****-less even before she entered my car which scared me so of course I failed.

Shake my head in shame...3. Now I'm an amazing driver! I took the test in a big city! People and things pop up out of no where.
I guess I don't help with the Asians being bad drivers stereotype. lol. But what can ya do? lol.

Twice - I took out a pylon on the "parallel parking" test - okay, YOU try parking a 1969 Ford station wagon in a 16-foot space in 1 allowable try; the verdammt CAR was 14 feet long . . .

Three. It was embarrassing. I did the maneuverability well, but I had problems with my road test (had to take it in a city I didn't know well, which didn't help).

Just once for me, my dad is a truck driver, he taught me, actually kind of drilled it into me. I just went to take it when I knew I was ready. I had mine in the city up in Chicago.
