Another algebra pproblem PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Well, if Julia is x years old, then Manuelo is 2x + 4. We know that Manuelo is 18, so:

2x + 4 = 18
2x = 18 - 4
2x = 14
x = 7

So... Julia is x = 7 years old!

Manuelo is 4 years older than half the age of his sister, so 18-4=14
14/2=7
Julia is 7yrs old
