"Fabreeze". has an electrical switch on the back so you can turn it the way it has to be, to B right, I have used them for a year now and when I leave and come back in my apartment the aroama I chose is very nice and my clothers in my closet even have a nice scent to it. It also has 2 different scents in the bottle and it keeps switching to each one for a while and goes back to the other . The first kit with the outlet dispencer is about 8 dollars and the refills are around $4.88 and they last about a month or more. I had the same problem you had until I found this one that had the swithch around plug in on the back. Hope this helps.

all the products sold in the market are all alike. They all create a temporary scent and atmosphere however as i said they only provide the scent you like temporarily, some even last only a couple of days and easily wears off. If you really like something that lasts longer and smells fresher, try the natural way. First let the natural fresh air come into your house.try to open windows across the rooms and let air circulate, apply the cross ventillation factor "fresh air in, stale air out". Sunshine also helps in maintaining the equilibrium of energy within the room. It is best in killing uwanted odour bacterias and viruses that are trapped inside your room. If you have achieved these procedure you may already add some of your favorite scents..... best, buy oil based scents for a lasting effect coz it doesnt evaporate as fast as the water based do.

Clean is better than perfumed anything any day of the week; as mentioned above use natural cleaners as much as possible. Open windows at every opportunity, even in the winter you can let in an inch or so of fresh air. If you must have some fragrance and don't have time to play with fresh-cut flowers every day, a few arrangements of dried herbs and flowers can do wonders for small places: lavender, rosemary, sage, mint, eucalyptus ... these will last several weeks without looking bedraggled and really do impart gentle scents throughout your living area.
If you need a blast of smelling good, bake some bread or an apple pie. Gingerbread is also a wonderfully refreshing fragrance to come home to, or anything citrus-y: hot tea with lemon comes to mind. If you aren't into baking today, bring a large pot of water to boiling, add a few clean strips of citrus rind, and a dash of cinnamon or ginger. Return to the boil then reduce heat to simmer; be sure the water doesn't cook away and let it simmer for an hour or so.

well I don't know where you're located, but if you have a Body Shop around your area, you can check them out, they have amazing oils to burn.. you just buy a burner, and you can put it on your table wherever, you dont need any outlets or plugs.. then you put some oil in it, add a little water and stick a candle in the bottom and voila! I do it all the time, works wonders, cause you can mix oils together and create your own scent, also you dont use alot of oil, so its money friendly on your pockets as well =D.. hope this helped

I like the oil diffusers with reeds. Not good with small children or pets around but they do add a nice subtle fragrance to the home.
Candles are great. I experiement with them. Some of the cheapest candles have the greatest frangrance.
One of my favorite cold weather scents is cloves and cinnamon on the stove. Fill a pan with water, sprinkle in some whole cloves and a cinnmon stick. Let it simmer and your house will smell fantastic! Just add water as it boils down.

I buy village candles. They are just as good or better than Yankee candles. They are even cheaper. I put mine in a candle warmer. You just put the size candle for the size warmer you have. It just melts with out having to light it. Don't use the flat type. Use the enclosed ones. I bought a big warmer. It will hold almost any size candles. The Summer Breeze is a very good one. I bought mine at a Tops store. They are all closed down now. I believe you can buy them online. It lasts a long time. Believe me.

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees and turn oven off. Take a couple of drops of vanilla extract food flavoring from the cabinet. Put about 4 to six drops on a piece of tin foil and place in center of hot turned off oven. Leave door open for about 5 minutes. The whole house will smell like cookies in a few minutes.

Glade candles are excellent they make my mother's bathroom smell like the wallpapers were made to smell that way. Also air out the place by opening the windows on a fairly breezy day.. then take a Febreeze spray and spray it everywhere. close the windows immediately. good luck!

The best spray that has great scent is Lysol. Probably you have heard of it. It has an affordable price and it has the greatest quality. It even eliminates bad odor in an instance. It is a spray can so when you are done with it, just buy another one. It is that simple. Good Luck!
